My exposure to the concept of spiritual direction began in the early 1990s as I read a series of novels.  Eventually I pursued formal training.  I graduated from the CFDM Los Angeles program when I turned 70 and love that you’re never too old to learn, to transform, or to dream.

I have had a dynamic relationship with Christ.  I spent many years in the Presbyterian Church (P.C.U.S.A.) as well as learning from, and experiencing God in contemplative and charismatic approaches. I chose to follow Christ as a college student and found Him a welcome refuge from the chaos of my childhood home as well as hope in the midst of trauma. I began spending many hours pursuing my wholeness.   As God did this deep, transformative work in me, my spirit resonated with what became one of my life verses:  Isaiah 61:1: “The spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me; he has sent me to bring good news to the oppressed, to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and released to the prisoners.”

For the last 30 years, much of my training in ministry has been in the area of prayer: intercessory prayer and healing prayer for physical, emotional and spiritual healing. Years of training and experience ministering in His healing love have shown me He is a God of far-reaching love and tremendous power.  I experience the rich blessing of using both healing prayer and spiritual direction in tandem when the opportunity arises.

My passion is to journey along side others as they seek the Father’s heart, His healing touch, the freedom of the cross, and to know what it means to belong to Abba and journey with Him.

Meeting new people and learning about their journey and uniqueness delights me.  I spend lots of time with friends who I feel comfortable sharing freely the ups and downs of my own spiritual journey.  I love learning, growing, reading, adventuring, traveling, laughing and dancing.
